How to Get a Driving Licence - Category A1
You can drive motorbikes up to 125 ccm and power of 11 kW on an A1 license if you completed training at an ongoing driving school. You can also drive three-drive motorized vehicles such as trikes.

What is my driving capability?
With an A1 licence, you can operate mopeds with two or three wheels. These are vehicles with an engine size of up to 125cc and an output of up to 11kW. A motor tricycle can be driven using this licence, provided it has a power output of no more than 15kW. This licence also permits you to drive a moped while towing a trailer.
If you wish to ride a more powerful motorbike, you will require a category AM licence instead. This permits mopeds of up to 130cc, with an output of 35 kW.
Drivers with a category C license (which is obtained by passing the four-part CPC test) can drive large-sized goods vehicles that have an authorized maximum weight of up to 3,500kg. This is a lot more than the majority of cars and that means you'll need to be able to tow quite some distance.
Category C1 is a little less restrictive than category C in that you can tow a trailer up to 775kg behind a vehicle that has this licence. This is a good way to get experience driving larger vehicles prior to taking on the full category C test, which is required for all wanting to drive HGVs.
Anyone who gains experience in the less powerful categories A and A1 will find it easier to pass the test for category A2, which allows the driving of light motorbikes with the power of up to 35kW. Age requirements for seniors

Practical test
The practical test will be conducted by a certified examiner who will evaluate how well you drive and adhere to traffic rules.
